Kassab is the latest actor to sign on to play Scrooge, or a version of him. His upcoming film Scruggs, directed by Zachary Ruda for Kassab Pictures, promises an “edgy modern-day take [on A Christmas Carol] filled with outrageous characters.” Sean Astin will play Marley, and other cast members include Donnell Clayton, Andrew Dawe-Collins, and Sarah Catherine Moore.
