Truth be known, the overall effect is actually a little less crazy than I expected. Though the bulging eyes are a promising sign!

The dress has an 18th century design–I guess that would put Great Expectations at around 1820-30? The sepia-like color grading is also interesting…I wonder if that is just for the promo pics, or if it’s the actual look.
