Happy 25th anniversary to ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’!

The beloved film — one of the best Christmas Carol adaptations of all, if you ask me — was released on this date in 1992. The Telegraph (subscriber-only), The Independentand Entertainment Tonight have all published articles that celebrate it.

If you have fond memories or favorite lines from The Muppet Christmas Carol, please share!

Thanks for reminding me! As I’ve already mentioned on Twitter this morning, I’ve never seen The Muppet Christmas Carol, but I’ve never heard anything but good things about it, and I am hoping to catch it sometime during this Holiday Season.
I know you always post a list here, so I’m off now, in search of it.
I’m wondering if maybe I should start at, RECENT POSTS, ‘A Christmas Carol’ on TV 😉

Favorite lines. I may not have every word precise, but:
‘It was the frog’s idea”. (When the rats asked for more coals for the fire, enraging Scrooge)
‘He’s selfish. And mean. And BADLY DRESSED!” (Mrs. Cratchit, wrt Scrooge)
“it was shallow. It was pointless. It was…short! We loved it!” (Waldorf and Statler, on Fozziwigs Christmas speech).
Watching this has been a family tradition of ours.
