You may have seen the news that the award-winning songwriter died last Monday at age 83 . . . but did you know he wrote a musical version of David Copperfield? Copperfield the musical ran for only 39 performances on Broadway in 1981, but it did earn Kasha and his songwriting partner Joel Hirschhorn a Tony nomination for Best Original Score!
