New novel looks at Dickens and Andersen

Released today, Francine Prose’s new novel, Five Weeks in the Country, tells the story of Hans Christian Andersen’s highly awkward visit to the Dickens household in 1857. Kirkus Reviews calls it “a sensitive, multilayered portrait of loneliness, betrayal, and longing.”
